There are many National Parks in Uganda each offering a unique experience. Every traveller would like to see different landscapes and wildlife so we'll attempt to summarise for you the different attractions at every park. All our tours can and will be individually modified to suit your wishes.
We'd like you to share with us whatever it is that makes your heart beat faster, and we will be happy to guide you along the way. These game-drive tours will start from Kampala for once-in-a-lifetime experience around these parks; well-spread all over the Pearl of Africa.
Q.E.N.P lies around 80 kilometers south of Fort Portal. It is one of the most popular parks in Uganda covering four different types of landscape and inhabiting almost a hundred species of mammals including elephants, hippos, leopards and lions. In the southern part you can also find the famous tree climbing lions.
Murchison Falls National Park is where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and cascades down to become a placid river whose banks are thronged with hippos and crocodiles, waterbacks and buffaloes. The vegetation is characterized by savannah, riverine forest and woodland. Wildlife includes lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda kobs, chimpanzees, and many bird species.
A rather small park with a high density of animals. also special about this particular park: it is the only place in Uganda where you can see zebras as well as giraffes and of course many many more animals such as the beautiful impala, bushbacks, waterbacks, warthogs and much more.
Lake Mburo NP is Uganda’s smallest Savannah national park, therefore not overrun with tourist. You will be able to see zebras, elands and if you are lucky then even a leopard. You can visit Lake Mburo on your way from Kampala to Mbarara and vice versa. Just contact us, and we will work out a plan that suits you best.
Kibale National Park
The density and diversity of primates in Kibale National Park is the highest in the whole of Africa. The most popular of its 13 species are the chimpanzees, our closest relative. Kibale’s 1450 chimpanzees indicate Uganda’s biggest population of this threatened primate. Other mammals are also present, though they are hardly seen. These consist of buffalos, leopards, bush pigs, elephants and duiker. A good observant could also see amphibians and reptiles and a colourful variety of butterflies.
It is 6hours drive to get to Kibale National Park from Kampala, which is famous for its chimpanzees. Therefrom, we’ll be able to see up to 12 other primate species. If you get lucky you can find elephants, buffaloes and more. Below, you will find different tours, of which you can combine the Chimp-tracking with various nature walks. Semuliki National Park is located on the remote western side of the Rwenzori mounatins. Being the only lowland tropical forest in East Africa, this park is definitely worth a visit. Especially bird watchers get their share as there are over 400 different species of birds in the park.
With thatched huts and the Semliki River being the small sister of the Congo river, you will get a sense of Central Africa without having to leave Uganda.

Kidepo is Uganda’s most isolated national park, but the few who make the long journey north, through the wild frontier region of Karamoja, would agree that it is also the most magnificent, for Kidepo ranks among Africa’s finest wildernesses. From Apoka, in the heart of the park, a Savannah landscape extends far beyond the gazetted area, towards horizons outlined by distant mountain ranges. Tours to Kidepo will be tailor made for you. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park sits high in the clouds, at an altitude of between 2,227m and 4,127m. As its name suggests, it was created to protect the rare mountain gorillas that inhabit the dense forests, and it is also an important habitat for the endangered golden monkey.
Mgahinga’s most striking features are its three conical, extinct volcanoes, part of the spectacular Virunga Range that lies along the border region of Uganda, Congo and Rwanda. Tours to Mgahinga will be custom made for you.
